In addition to many different activity options for your elderly loved one, our senior living communities are dedicated to providing special live events and entertainment when possible. Along with our daily activities we provide many entertaining events throughout the year to liven our residents' moods and give everyone a chance to come together in fellowship.
We provide entertaining activities throughout the year for your loved one to enjoy not only with other community members, but with other friends and family as well! Each community celebrates holidays, birthdays, anniversaries, and much more!
Dances and Socials
Everyone enjoys a chance to come together and cut a rug! We like to provide opportunities throughout the year where family and friends can come together and enjoy our social gatherings. Events include: wine and cheese socials, senior proms, holiday galas, and our "Sweetie Pie Dance."
The Sweetie Pie Dance at River Oaks Place in Lenoir City, Tennessee gave residents an opportunity to design and prepare for the main event. Residents took part in floral design for centerpieces and crafted other decorations.
The community came together the night of the event for music, fun, and dancing. They were even able to satisfy their sweet tooth with homemade pies!
Live Music and Sing-Alongs
Our communities are fortunate to have wonderful entertainers perform live for our residents throughout the year. Our River Oaks Community hosted a Memorial Day sing-along event with a local entertainer. The community was able to come together in remembrance of those serving and who have served.
Our Antebellum Grove community hosted a karaoke social for residents and even had a very special musical guest: Elvis! From folk artists playing the guitar, church choirs, bands, or Elvis impersonators, our residents get the excitement of a night out on the town right from their very own home.
Animal Days
Pets bring big smiles and fuzzy feelings to our communities. Some of our communities allow for residents to bring pets, and others will host pet therapy activities.
At our Jamestowne assisted living community, the Knoxville Zoo was kind enough to bring in unique animals that many people do not normally interact with. Our residents had the opportunity to interact with and learn about different animals other than traditional household pets!
Birthdays and Anniversaries
Each birthday is a celebration at all of our senior living communities. We want your loved one to be able to celebrate their special day with family members, friends, and other residents. We also enjoy celebrating special anniversaries for the couples in our communities!
